The result of a meet­ing between Patrice Deparpe, cura­tor of the museum of Le Tou­quet, and the artist Alain Godon was the idea of putting together an exhi­bi­tion of twenty seven paint­ings rep­re­sent­ing the great men of the 20th cen­tury. […] After vis­it­ing Le Tou­quet, Lens and even the Assem­blée Nationale, this gallery of por­traits is now exhibit­ing in the Great Hall of Lille city hall. […] His oil paint­ings evoke a comic strip universe.
