And the scene was set for this exhi­bi­tion! All his fans and his col­lec­tors expected to find new works along the usual theme of his peri­patetic urban dis­cov­er­ies. This time, how­ever, Godon invited us to return to nature. And nature it truly was, with an amaz­ing fresh­ness; the pow­er­fully scented authen­tic flow­ers were dis­played adja­cent to their water­colour likenesses.
