Alain Godon Trophy: the first prize was taken by Aurélie Poinat, a young artist from the Beaux-Arts

The chairwoman of the jury took no pains to hide the difficult decision to choose between the candidates. “We still had 80 candidates after the first round!” As Godon emphasised, it was clear that the quality was as high as ever at this year’s event. Opening the award ceremony, the Deputy and Mayor, Mr Daniel Fasquelle, reiterated his will to prioritise and push Le Touquet forward as a leading resort, both environmentally and culturally, and to make it “welcoming to artists”. There were 450 entrants this year, how many next?
