A retrospective of Alain Godon’s paintings

The artist’s first exhibition was at the Palais de l’Europe and was followed by a resounding success at the Fardel Gallery and then an exhibition at the museum. Increasingly he exhibits in now evermore prestigious places, and this retrospective is also a tribute to all those who have followed his career over the last fifteen years. […] They are paintings with an innocent beauty and an immediate presence. A successor to Pop Art and New Figuration, Alain Godon is showing his magnificent maturity.
