A New Naïf

The same warmth that is in Alain Godon’s paintings is to be be found in the artist. 2000 is an excellent year for Godon. After the exhibition at the museum dedicated to the “Figures of the Century”, the Fardel Gallery, avenue du Verger in Le Touquet, is hosting the artist. If you enjoyed the exhibition at the museum, you will be pleased to learn that there is still a lot more to discover. […] A satirist, Godon enjoys steam-rollering over conventions and rules. But like all talented individuals, he re-creates his own. Quite simply, it’s what we call style.
