Alain Godon explores the 20th century

Alongside Patrice Deparpe, director of the Museum of Le Touquet, and with whom he has worked over the last three years to define the outline of his exhibition entitled “Figures of the Century”, Alain Godon has chosen to explore the past: to extract the quintessential core of the last ten decades. He could have put on to canvas major subjects of the century or depict its defining events. He has preferred to empower mankind. And, in a series of twenty seven paintings, he has put the spotlight on the figures who have characterised the 1900s.
